Bethel Park Lady Hawks Basketball Booster's Association Meeting
February 1, 2005

Call to Order

President Darlene Gratton called the meeting to order at 7:30 PM.

Reading of Minutes

Audrey Glowacki read the meeting minutes for the January 10, 2004 meeting. The minutes were approved.

Financial Update

Scott Krebs provided a budget summary. There was discussion about having a publicity committee to advertise basketball events to try to boos attendance and bring in more money.

Notes from the Coach

The coach is waiting to order T-shirts until after Mt. Lebanon's last game.

Committee Reports

Lazarus Coupons – Tom Loadman stated that the Lazarus sale letter would go out after Senior Night..

Granny's Pizza Sale for 9th Graders – The pizza sale made less then $500.00. Everyone should pick up their pizza orders at Granny's on February 11, after 1:30 pm.

Banquet – There was a long discussion on the breakdown of money between the Freshmen and JV/Varsity teams for the year-end banquets. The budget allows $4000.00 total for this year's banquets (Freshmen and JV/Varsity). This will not be exceeded without discussion by the Executive Committee.

The Freshmen banquet will be at Dave and Busters. The JV/Varsity banquet will be at the Hilton at South Pointe.

Audrey Glowacki requested photos and/or video for the multimedia presentation of the 2004-05 season, to be shown at the banquet. Also, ideas are needed for music or captions for the photos. Game shots are particularly needed.

New Business

Tom Loadman requested that the content of Article 6 of the By-Laws be sent to the members and posted on the web site in preparation for the March Officers Elections.

Adjournment

The meeting adjourned at 8:33 PM. The next meeting is in March. The date will be decided based on the playoff schedule.
