Bethel Park Lady Hawks Basketball Booster's Association Meeting
March 6, 2006

Call to Order

President Tom Loadman called the meeting to order at 7:35 PM.

Reading of Minutes

The minutes from the previous meeting were read. There were no questions.

Financial Update

Scott gave a financial update through March 9th, 2006. The Booster’s will have approximately $14,000 at the end of the 2005/2006 season. There are still a few outstanding bills remaining from the banquet, but these are minor expenses.

Fundraising

We may be able to cut back on some of the fundraising for the 2006/2007 season. We will still have the major fundraisers - Golf Outing, Program Book, Entertainment Books and three car washes. There are still 2 muffin sales scheduled for this year. The dates are March 31st and April 12th.

Notes from the Coach/President

• The Banquet is scheduled for March 19^th at South Point. The invitations are out.

• We will play in the Avonworth Summer League in May and June.

• Coach Burke will have open gym starting in Mid-April. The specific date and time will be announced.

• The team will not go to an overnight camp this summer, but Coach is looking to go to several day camps including California and Robert Morris. She may also add a third camp before the summer is over.

• Also, Coach Burke will be returning to coach for the 2006/2007 Season.

• We will also be sponsoring a Tip-Off Tournament this fall.  Elizabeth Forward, North Catholic, and Pine Richland are expected to attend.

• We will attend the North Allegheny Christmas Tournament this year. Date and time to be announced.

• Nominations for anyone interested n running for the Girls Booster Board should be submitted to Tom Loadman by April 1^st. The election will be held at the next meeting, April 3^rd. The positions are President, 2 Vice Presidents, Secretary, and Treasurer.

The meeting adjourned at 8:25 PM. The next meeting will be held May 8th, 2006 in Building 1.
