Bethel Park Lady Hawks Basketball Booster's Association Meeting
June 6, 2005

Call to Order

President Tom Loadman called the meeting to order at 7:40 PM.

Reading of Minutes

Rick Poploski read the meeting minutes from the May 9, 2005 meeting. The minutes were approved.

Financial Update

Scott Krebs provided a budget summary. He paid out $700 for the summer league and $35 for a baby
gift.

Notes from the Coach

Coach Burke informed Tom that the team will attend the IUP Summer Camp on June 25 and 26. Each player needs to provide a check to the coach for $60 and the Boosters will also pay $60 per player. There will be a total of 18 players attending the IUP Camp. The team will also attend a one-day camp at Slippery rock on June 17th. Each Player is responsible for providing her own transportation to both camps.

She asked Tom if the Boosters could purchase a white board for the locker room. The cost is approximately $75. The Boosters voted in favor of purchasing the white board.

Committee Reports

Car Wash - Scott reported that the total profit for the May car wash was $596. The next car wash is June 18th.

Tip Off Tournament - The tip-off tournament has been canceled.

CMU Survey - The CMU Survey has been canceled.

New Business

Fund Raising – Several new fund raisers were suggested at the meeting. These included selling wreaths at Christmas, having a Monte Carlo Night, and the March Madness Raffle.

Bake Sale – It was also suggested that the girls could hold a bake sale in school in the fall.

Adjournment

The meeting adjourned at 8:35 PM. The next meeting will be held in September in room 1104 at the High School.
