Booster's Association Meeting
September 5, 2006
Call to Order
President Tom Loadman called the meeting to order at 7:40 PM. The newly elected
officers were introduced as well as all in attendance.
Reading of Minutes
The minutes from the previous meeting were read. There were
no questions.
Financial Update
Scott Krebs gave a financial update through March 17th, 2006. The Booster’s will
have a balance carried over from the previous year that will be used to fund any
new expenditure.
Fundraising
Tom advised we should have sufficient funds available to meet this years expenses
without a need to do a lot of fundraising. We will still have the program book ads
to sell. We had two successful car washes, the CMU Survey and the Golf Outing.
Notes from the Coach/President
- Open gym begins September 12th and will
be twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- Open gym will be expanded to 4 days a week beginning October 2nd.
- The Varsity and JV will participate in a Fall League this year beginning on October
2nd at North Allegheny HS. The league will last 6 weeks and games will be on Mondays
or Thursdays at 6:00pm, 7:00pm, or 8:00 pm. Varsity will play 2 games (back to back)
and JV will play one game.
- Shoot Out at Bethel Park on Saturday, October 28th. There will be ten Varsity and
six JV Teams participating. Each team will play 3 one-hour games. Tom asked for
a volunteer to chair the Shoot Out.
- The Tip Off Tournament is scheduled for Friday, December 1st and Saturday, December
2nd. The teams are Bethel Park, Elizabeth Forward, Moon, and North Catholic. Times
to be announced.
- The Christmas Tournament will be at North Allegheny HS. Dates and times to be announced.
PNC Bank may be a sponsor.
- We will have a Freshman Team this year if enough girls participate. Coach Burke
has a coach available.
- We will not be participating in the Bethel Park Community Day this year.

The meeting adjourned at 8:25 PM. The next meeting will be held October 10th, 2006
in Building 1, Room 1104.
