Bethel Park Lady Hawks Basketball Booster's Association Meeting
October 10, 2006

Call to Order

President Tom Loadman called the meeting to order at 7:40 PM.

Reading of Minutes

The minutes from the previous meeting were read. There were no questions.

Financial Update

Scott Krebs gave a financial update through October, 2006. The Booster’s will have a balance carried over from the previous year that will be used to fund any new expenditure.

Fundraising

Tom advised the one remaining fundraiser is the Program Ad Book. Mary Hagerty passed out the envelopes to all the parents and discussed selling the ads throughout Bethel Park.

Notes from the Coach/President

• We will have a Freshman Team this Year. The new coach for the team will be Nancy Sargent.
• The Boosters will be buying new shoes and shirts for all the players, including the freshman team.
• The Shootout scheduled for October 28th currently has 6 Varsity and 4 JV teams participating. The games will begin at 10 AM and should be finished by 5 PM. All parents need to volunteer for this event to make it successful. Dave and Judy Bickel will chair this event.
• The Tip Off Tournament is scheduled for Friday, December 1st and Saturday, December 2nd. The teams are Bethel Park, Elizabeth Forward, Moon, and North Catholic. Times to be announced.
• The Christmas Tournament will be at North Allegheny HS. Dates and times to be announced. PNC Bank may be a sponsor.
• Give any pictures to Rich Unger for the Program Ad Book.

The meeting adjourned at 8:25 PM. The next meeting will be held November 13th, 2006 in Building 1, Room 1104.
