Bethel Park Lady Hawks Basketball Booster's Association Meeting
December 5, 2005

Call to Order

President Tom Loadman called the meeting to order at 7:35 PM.

Reading of Minutes

Rick Poploski reviewed the meeting minutes from the November 7, 2005 meeting. The minutes were approved.

Financial Update

Scott Krebs provided a budget summary. The bill is still due for the girl’s basketball shoes. We will purchase a new microwave for the concession stand for $150 of which we will contribute approximately $75 and the Boy’s Boosters will also contribute $75.

Notes from the Coach

Coach Burke informed Tom that the team will play in the Christmas Tournament at Elizabeth Forward High School on December 28th and 29th. The team will also play in the Washington County Hoop Fest on Saturday, December 10th at W&J University.

Committee Reports

Program Ads - The sale of Ads for the program book is doing well per Dana. We have sold close to $6150 in Ads and will have $2000 in costs.

Bake Sale – The girls will have two more muffin sales in the morning before school.

Promotion Nights - Tom discussed the promotion nights we will have before each home game. These nights will be to recognize the girls’ basketball teams in our community.

New Business

The Cheerleaders will cheer at the 6 home section games.

Senior Night will be on Monday, February 13th versus Penn Hills.

Dave asked Tom if the new Athletic Director could attend one of our Booster Meetings. Tom thought this was a good idea and will try to invite him to the next meeting.

Tom is also going to discuss with Coach Burke on trying to get a closer location for the Tip Off Tournament next year.

Dana is getting Brentwood Bank to donate the Foam Fingers, which we will hand out at the home games.

The meeting adjourned at 8:25 PM. The next meeting will be held January 10th, 2006 in Building 1.
