League Notices
To All Schools - To prepare the Diocese of Pittsburgh Boys Basketball League for the 2023-2024 season each school must do the following:
1. Complete the online Team Data Sheet. Open the form, select your school, select a team you want to register (JV or Varsity), and enter your team's information. Then submit the data sheet. Do this for each team at your school. The league will use this information to enroll your school's teams. If you have trouble with the form, contact Rich Unger, Web Site Administrator (412-443-5601, runger@shcacademy.com). Complete this by November 1, 2023
1. Submit your team rosters using the Player Eligibility Roster form by November 15, 2023 (Player Eligibility Roster in Microsoft Word format). Mail or email the rosters to Alex Kline (akline@duncangrp.com), Diocese Boys Varsity Basketball Sports Coordinator, 368 Butler Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15223.
2. Submit your League Fees, which are $75.00 per team. For Varsity teams make the check payable to the "The Diocese of Pittsburgh" and mail it to

All fees must be paid no later than the first league game.
3. You should also review the League Rules. You should print the rules and use them for reference before and during the season.

Tournaments
 Serra Catholic Boys & Girls Basketball programs are hosting a grade school tournament over the Christmas break. Limited Spots Remaining! We will be using the Tourney Machine website this year for registration. Follow the link here (https://tourneymachine.com/R134039) to sign up.  The Butler Catholic School Annual Developmental Tournament will be held February 24-25 and March 2-3 at the BCS gym, located at 515 E. Locust Street, Butler PA 16001. The tournament will be pool play with 3 game guaranteed. Registration is $150/team. This will be a co-ed tournament of Developmental (3rd & 4th grade) teams. There will be a full snack bar during the tournament including hot food and beverages. | North Catholic Boys Basketball will be hosting their annual Trojan Tip Off on December 2-3 at North Catholic High School. This event, which helps promote Catholic School Athletics, has been a great display of high level basketball including schools from Philadelphia, Buffalo, NY and Youngstown, OH. The cost of the event is $2 for students and $5 for adults. In addition to attendance, our Boosters are currently looking for sponsorship for this event.
