Tournaments


Basketball Stars of America will be hosting Tournaments in the Pittsburgh Area for Boys & Girls Teams during the Spring & Summer Months. Tournament Information is available at: http://www.basketballstarsofamerica.com/basketball-tournaments-shootouts or by calling 412-400-1320.


Camps


Each year CYO recommends summer overnight basketball camps conducted in a safe environment. We have examined and evaluated these camps for Cost, Expertise in Instruction, Amount of Games, Tournaments, Improvement, Facilities, and 24 Hour around-the-clock supervision. The camps on the attached flyer have continued to be approved and recommended by the CYO as overnight camps that have the highest level of skill development that will improve each individual to their fullest potential and prepare them to be a future High School player. The recommended camps are listed as the best instructional camps concentrating on the fundamentals of basketball. These camps have proven to be conducted in a safe environment with around the clock supervision and are directed and staffed by caring adults.  - CYO Approved Camps

Dave Degregorio's Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic HS Boys Hoop Camp - Monday, August 6 - Thursday, August 9. Grades 3-5 morning (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM) session and Grades 6-8 afternoon (1:00 PM - 4:00 PM) session. Have your boys come get some individual skill development training and competitive play. $100 per player, with a 20% discount for multiple players. Keystone State Overnight Summer Camps are intensive skills camps with high powered individualized skill training guaranteed to advance player skills to the next level. More instruction than any Point Guard or Big Man Camp. Camps are held at Edinboro University June 29-July 1 and at Slippery Rock University July 22-25. Campers are housed in air conditioned suites with private bathrooms. All coaches have criminal back round clearances and supervise campers 24/7. Since 2006 PITTSBURGH PRIDE HOOPS’ primary focus has always been to develop the basketball skills and fundamentals of our players.  We want to help our players become the very best basketball players that they can be.  We have weekly basketball workouts every Sunday for both boys and girls from grades 4 through high school.  Please see the flyer for more information.  We also offer 1-on-1 and small group workouts (which can be focused on basketball-only drills or can also include some speed, agility, and quickness training). St. Thomas More Catholic School, located in Bethel Park, is looking for individuals with a passion for coaching and teaching Catholic values and athletic skills across all of our sports teams for the 2018-2019 school year. Sports include:

Northside Catholic Assumption Academy is seeking to fill Coaching Positions for our Varsity and Junior Varsity Girls and Boys Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, Cross Country and Cheerleading teams. Candidates must be willing and have the ability to obtain current ACT 34 and ACT 151 clearances, attend and complete the Protecting God's Children seminar and complete the Mandatory Reporter Training. The two classes are now both available on-line. The successful candidate will have the sport acumen for the position which they are applying, had prior coaching or organized playing experience for the position which they are applying, and enjoy working with children in grades 4-8.
