Calling all Trojan Fans and Supporters! It is that time of year again, where the North Catholic Boys Basketball Team will be hosting their 3rd annual Trojan Tip-Off on December 6 & 7! This event which helps promote Catholic School Athletics has been a great display of high-level basketball. We are excited to bring in teams from Ohio, Maryland and right here in western PA! The cost of the event is $6 adults and $4 students. Kids under the age of 13 are free when accompanied by a paying adult. In addition to attendance, our Boosters are currently looking for sponsorship for the event to help us put on a fantastic show of basketball, sportsmanship and community. This is a great opportunity for advertising for any business with varying levels of sponsorship. At the very minimal we invite you to attend one of the many games that will be sure to be some fantastic basketball! St. Gregory’s in Zelienople, PA is hosting its Annual Turkey Shootout Tournament  - We still have openings for Varsity Boys Teams - 4 divisions; JV Boys/Girls (Grades 5-6): Wednesday, November 20 to Sunday, November 24; Varsity Boys/Girls (Grades 7-8): Wednesday, December 4 to Sunday, December 8; 175/1st team, $150/2nd team, $125 3rd team, 3 teams or more from the same school is $125 each (school discount); 3 Game guarantee; 1st and 2nd Place Team Trophies and a Team MVP; Play-offs; Championship games; Full concessions; T-shirt sales; 50/50 raffle; Low level "A" teams welcome with the approval of the tournament director. The Sacred Heart Crusader Classic Christmas Tournament will take place from December 26-30 at St. Jude Parish - Monsignor Keane Activities Building. The Serra Catholic Boys & Girls Basketball programs are hosting a grade school tournament over the Christmas break - 12/27-12/29. We will be using the Tourney Machine website this year for registration - follow the link HERE to sign up; This year we will have two divisions (A/B) for 7th/8th grade teams and 5th/6th grade teams; 5th/6th graders can be on the same team and 7th/8th graders are allowed to be on the same team; Any teams with all 8th graders or all 6th graders will automatically be placed in the "A" division. Early bird registration is $210. We’re thrilled to invite you to the Rocket Girls Basketball Tournament this winter! Mark your calendars for February 28 - March 2, 2025; Register HERE; Tournament Details: Girls in grades 2-8 (A & B divisions), Open to single-community teams (no AAU teams), PA State Qualifier, 3-game guarantee; Reduced entry fee from last year! $10 Weekend PassEntry Fee; $275 per team; Discount for organizations with 3+ teams: $225 per team; 2nd Grade teams: $250 (or $200 if 3+ teams from the same organization); Admission Fee: Only $10 for the entire weekend! (18+ only). This year, get a bracelet for full access all weekend for $10 or $7 dollars per day; Divisions: Competitive and Developmental levels available for all teams, from 2nd grade through 8th grade. 2nd, 7th and  8th grade will need to ensure we have enough teams for Competitive and developmental; Register today to secure your spot and be part of this exciting event. Basketball Skills Training - If your son or daughter wants to improve his/her basketball skills, I can help them reach their goals. I have over 25 years of basketball coaching experience in addition to approximately 10 years of experience in individual and small group basketball training.
