Basketball Clinics at your school! Coach Mark Walsh, Assistant Boys Basketball Coach at Baldwin High School is doing Fall Clinics (for both boys and girls) at various grade schools. Coach Walsh is the former Head Coach of Bishop Canevin High School as well as a former Assistant Coach at Blackhawk High School. ATTENTION GIRL'S VARSITY AND JV COACHES: We are currently in the process of updating all school and coach information for the upcoming season (2008-2009). No section alignment has been decided for this season and therefore the information on this website is still the information from last season. Once everything has been settled, we will update the section alignment for the upcoming season. We hope to have everything finalized within the next few weeks. Unfortunately there are still some schools that have not supplied us with the information necessary to get everything completed.

Roster forms and league fees were due by November 15, 2008.

Scrimmage Request

St. Thomas More 7th grade Girls basketball team would like to schedule scrimmages, both home and away, beginning in late November, 2008 through early March, 2009. Home games at STM's gym will be played on Sundays at 3:30 pm. Contact Bill Trozzo (412-851-4177, suetrozzo@verizon.net).

The St. Anne's Girls JV is looking for scrimmages, both home and away. We are a very young, inexperienced team of mostly 4th and 5th graders. If interested, contact Rich Unger (412-386-5081 (w), 412-443-5601 (c), 412-833-9477 (h), RUnger@cdc.gov)

Tournament

Sign up for the Holy Spirit School Annual Basketball Tournament, Varsity Boys and Girls - November 13-17 , JV Boys and Girls - December 4–9, Cost is $85.00. Please contact Rita Zunko (412-931-1658) for the boys division and Jeff Duffy (412-389-0237, jeffreyduffy@yahoo.com) for the girls division.

National Rehab Equipment will host its annual Christmas Tournament at St. James Sewickley on Monday 12/29 and Tuesday 12/30.The JV Girls will play at 12:00 noon & 1:30 p.m. and the Varsity games will be played at 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. This is a B Level and White Level Tournament. St. James only has 7 girls on its Varsity Roster. There are openings for 3 JV and 3 Varsity teams. The cost is $110 per team.
