| Northside Catholic Athletic Association – 44th Annual JV Boys and Girls Basketball Tournament - Thursday February 23, 2012 through Sunday March 18, 2012; Northside Catholic Athletic Association (formerly St Cyril) invites you to our 44th annual Junior Varsity Basketball Tournament. We will again this year have brackets open in Boys A, B, and Girls classifications. Class “A” schools with “B” JV teams are welcome to attend. All schools in the diocese having JV basketball teams are invited to participate. PIAA referees will officiate each game. The tournament entrance fee is $150.00 per team, and entries with payments must be received by February 8th, 2012. Our tournament will also provide these activities as part of our event: All-Star Tournament games on the final day of the tournament for selected players, A Hot Shot Shooting Contest, and a Foul Shooting Contest for all players in the tournament (participation fee required). | 2012 Basketball Stars of America AAU Tryouts, Open Gyms & Skill Development Programs - 2012 Spring AAU Tryouts begin the weekend of February 4. Prior to the Tryouts, Basketball Stars of America is hosting AAU Open Gyms on Sundays throughout the month of January at Sewickley Academy (beginning January 8). Basketball Stars of America will also host a great series of Skill Development Programs including Basketball Boot Camps, Skill Academies and "BSA Elite" Workouts on Sundays from now through March at Sewickley Academy.
